  • Engaged! Emma Chan (2012) and her fiancé Brandon Ng

    After leaving Lauriston, Emma Chan (2012) studied at University of Qld ( St Lucia), Undergraduate Science, Post Graduate Medicine.  Emma met Brandon Ng in 1st year Med School and 6.5 years later, they are engaged!  A true love story!

    An Alpaca farm picnic area was the backdrop of this surprised proposal and yes, Emma was definitely surprised!

    Family and friends are very happy for the beautiful couple!

  • Jess van Roosendaal (1998)

    The OLA is delighted to announce the marriage of Jess van Roosendaal (1998) to her beloved husband Vinay Koka.  After a beautiful ceremony at St Kilda Gardens, Jess and Vinay and their guests were serenaded by saxophone as they walked down Acland Street to The Stokehouse where they had their wedding reception.  Congratulations to Jess, Vinay and of course their beautiful baby girl Florence!  Happy days!
  • Alex Winter (2004)

    Congratulations to Alex Winter (2004) and Jono Kimpton who were married on 21st March at the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis.

    The huge proposed “festival like” wedding was quickly reduced to 28 family on a jewel of a family bush property in Upper Pakenham. It was such a warm and intimate experience highlighted by the bride arriving by flying fox!!

    Alex had two of her Lauriston school friends as bridesmaids: Georgie Stobart and Joey Beecher (with Bianca Watchel trapped in New York).

    A week later wedding numbers dropped to only five guests! How lucky they were . A celebration at a later date will happen for friends.

    Let the celebration continue!

  • Amber Stanley (1999)

    We are delighted to announce that Amber Stanley (1999) married Benny Hollenstein on 1 February 2020 at St Mark's Church in Darling Point in Sydney. Amber is based in Sydney working as Group General Counsel of ASX listed food company, Freedom Foods Group. We wish Amber and Benny a wonderful life together.

    Congratulations to Emily Morris (2009) who has recently become engaged on Christmas Day! Josh and Emily met 10 years ago and have been together for the last 7 years. Within this time, they have maintained a happy relationship despite Josh being in Iraq for two 8-month deployments!
