The Lauriston Spirit Project supports second generation Old Lauristonian Amanda Brown (1984) and Parlez! Social Media.

Amanda says that Lauriston taught her that life is an ongoing journey, and on that journey it is important to be flexible and confident in your ability.

Now in the current world of self-isolation due to COVID-19, these words ring loud and clear for many of us.

Amanda knows that communicating with customers effectively via social media has never been more important and with the increase in online shopping, and the majority of people globally staying at home, now is the time for business owners to ramp up their social media presence.

Your regular and new customers should be able to find your business on social media platforms to see if you are still open, and what services/products you are offering. If your business closes or slows down it is the ideal time to strategise, create content and expand your online offering. Building up a good relationship with your followers on social media throughout this pandemic, will put you in a better position to relaunch.

Amanda is an experienced digital nomad who is social media savvy and has the commercial mindset and necessary strategic understanding to brand, build and manage a community around your business.

Amanda has the resources - time and know-how to utilise social media to build on your customer base. Parlez! Social Media helps your business grow by creating, scheduling, and engaging your target audience with content posted on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
